Am I the only one who thinks this or is it really hard to find craft shows and festivals for a certain area online? I get the most confusing results when I do a search, and then I have to go find more information on a show I read about. Argh. To make my (and other Clevelanders and Akronites') life easier, I would love if we could start a thread where we can post craft shows, festivals, and flea markets we know about. I would appreciate it so much and I'm sure other people will too.

To start us off, I'll list a couple things I heard about:

Streetsboro Flea Market - http://www.streetsborofleamarket.net/index.htm

Hartville Flea Market - http://www.hartvillefleamarket.com/outdoor_vending.php

Crocker Park Fine Arts Fair - http://www.crockerpark.com/events.php?id=253

If anyone knows any other shows, please, please, please post them here!

If anyone is going to Oddmall, a couple of us Craftsters are meeting up there in the afternoon - just to look around. Maybe we can get a whole group of Craftsters to meet up and check things out!!!!!

anyone know of a 1 day fair near cleveland, or Lorain area the end of July, or Early August.  My daughter and I would like to try to enter one.  I do decorative painting on glass and she makes jewelry.

Check out Northcoast Promotions - http://www.northcoastpromo.com - they sponsor/run/coordinate/whatever several shows in the Cleveland area. These are juried shows (in the sense that they want to make sure you fit, that what you make is handmade [no problem for us Craftsters], and that they variety) and many times the table fee is quite reasonable.

I'm considering several for my 'fall lineup'.

[Don't have the section online yet, but I make jewelry - current thing is jewelry from hardware - nuts, washers, s-hooks - mixed with things like chain and crystal...]

Also, I've heard good things about the 'outdoor flea market' at the Unique Bazaar at 130th and Brookpark [130th exit off of I-480]. You pull up, park with the other people with your car behind 2 spaces - you can set up as you want within those two parking spaces. The owner will come around and collect $10 for your two spaces sometime in the morning. The people I talked to said they make good money [$50+] even on slow days, so next weekend I'm going to try it. I'll let you know how it goes.
