Your hubby in the dress and wig totally reminded me of the Emily Howard character from Little Britain .

  This is your new house?  Congratulations!  I read your husband's blog every day and cant wait to see what you do with the bathroom! ha ha.. ack
    I showed my girlfriend this post.. she introduced me to crafters and she said what a sweet guy to model the umbrella I said SCROLL DOWN.. omg.  She burst out laughing and said man he is one ugly lady.. then she said i hope I find true love like that! ha ha

This is really awesome. The only thing I can suggest is to cover up the umbrella on the inside so you don't see the old part. It kinda clashes a bit. Other than that, very creative way to reuse a dress!

I love this project. I'm really amazed at what you did with such a hideous dress, and I'm doubly amazed that you can look at the finished parasol and still say, "Bridesmaid's Dress."
