I had a tiny scrap of this fabric in my stash and I thought it really suited a swap partner, so I made this little purse for her.
It's a basic Jordy bag.  I used the Jordy bag pattern on this site and it's lined with a white on white pattern. It has a pocket that goes across the whole back side and it closes with a bit of white velcro.

Here's the picture:

It does have a handle, made out of the same fabric as the body of the bag.
The bauble on the front is a vintage pin and I found it at a little church rummage sale.  There is a light blue stripe in the fabric as well, although it isn't picked up very well by the camera.

The inside looks like this:

It has four pockets in it.  I was very pleased with myself after I made it, I sewed only in the white lines for the pocket lines and it makes the seam look invisible.  Smiley

I was kind of sad to see it go, but I knew it was going to a good place.  Smiley

Such a pretty bag and the pin is the perfect touch.

Thanks!  I was really pleased with the way the pin matched.
