Hello all! I'm new to posting- though not new to Crafster- I've been lurking for ages! I love all the wonderful ideas flying around here and knowing that there are so many people as obsessed (and plenty more) with crafting as me!

Enough about that... to the bag! I made it during a watching of the Godfather with some extra yarn I had hanging around. It's sort of natural coloured with navy blue trim. I'm more into vibrant colours- but this is ok.

What do you think? Questions, comments, suggestions would all be welcomed!

(I appologize for the crappiness of the pics- somebody buy this girl a camera!)

Cheers fellow crafters!

Aha, a fellow movie-crafter.  Isn't it the best combo ever?  I tend to accomplish a lot with a movie in the background, it feeds my short attention span.  Grin

Great job on the bag, you should start posting more of your goodies!

you know, i was just thinking about how i feel i can never do anything unless im multi-tasking. if im cooking i have to also be cleaning. if im knitting i have to be watching a movie or listening to a book on tape. just not enough time in the day to only do one thing. now i just cant decide if that unheathy or not.

i really like the tote. did you use cotton? i love mesh bags. Grin

Thanks for your comments!

To answer your questions- the bag is made out of acrylic worsted weight yarn- and I used a really big hook (6.50) to make it extra stretchy.

I'm not sure what a love knot is... so this may be one!! But what I did was a back double crochet... I started out by chaining 3 then dc in the sp behind the chain 3. Then I skipped a space and dc- then dc in the space I'd just skipped. I'm not sure if that makes sense or not. If you're interested in making it I can post more complete instructions.

Happy crocheting Smiley
