I designed these myself so that's why I'm so excited!!! Shocked
I knitted them with just some acrylic stash I had on hand. On to the dark pics. Sorry, my flash has burned out.  Embarrassed

My daughter loves Twilight, so of course, these remind her of Bella...
Please let me know what you think! Too chunky? It's a 10-stitch cable. Oh, now that I think about it, maybe I should have taken some pics of the palm side.  Well, they are nothing spectacular, just the garter stitch.
What do my fellow craftsters think of my design?

Lovely rich blue colour and cozy, definitely not too chunky!

Hmmm...I might try this out.  Can you be generous with the pattern?  I need to learn cables, even though...(personally - YUCK!)....

They look gorgeous!  (I personally hate the "official" Bella mitts!!!!!!)

Love how these look! I'm not a fan of wrist warmers but have been looking at them all day to make some for myself and these are the nicest I've seen, by far.

Wow! I'm so surprised I got some comments! Now I really wish I had taken better pictures.  Cry

Thanks for looking, and sorry I don't have a pattern. I know I jotted it down on a scrap paper when I was making them, but hmmmm... I don't have the best filing system and we moved this year, so... I wish I could do it again; I haven't even knitted this year at all  Undecided

You should totally call these "fortune cookie mitts"!! The way the cabling kind of sticks up looks just like fortune cookies!!  The color totally rocks too!  Smiley

Well, I'm finallly getting around to pattern writing, so I will be letting you know when I get it done! I am writing up a pattern for my etsy shop but the cable is not as chunky.

When I get the "fortune cookie" ones written up I will let you know, and send you a pattern via email  Wink
