I decided to make my husband a shirt for Valentine's Day using the freezer paper technique. I had never done it before, and now I can't wait to try it again. It was so easy! I did forget to put something between the layers of the shirt though, so some paint bled through to the back. I printed my words in giant letters onto copy paper, then traced them onto the freezer paper. I used to xacto knife to cut the words out, then I ironed the paper to the shirt. I used plain ole 97 cent acrylic paint. It bled a little around the edges, but I like the messy look. I also chose not to put the cutouts back in the letters like the o's and p's.

I also played around with some spray paint. I didn't iron the stencil on, just laid it overtop an old tank top. I like the way this one came out too.

I first saw this idea here: http://www.neitherhipnorfunky.com/?p=106
I'm definitely going to try a picture next!
