I don't know if your question has been answered yet, considering it's been half a year, but have you checked out the Pearl Paint Craft Center and places around 38th - 39th Street and 6th Avenue? I've only been to Fun 2 Bead in that area, but there was a pretty extensive selection. I don't know how reasonably priced you'd consider them to be though. You can check Yelp for details.

I would definitely just walk on 6th between 34th and 40th, there are tons of stores with supply prices ranging from really cheap to pretty expernsive (swarovski and the like).
