My lil one is having a birthday on March 10th and I wanted to make her something girly, shiny and pink! I was inspired when I went to Hobby Lobby and discovered their shiny tule on sale for only .99 cents a yard!

She isn't walking yet, so its really not practical, but she will grow into it eventually.

Close up of knotted detail...

I used approx 4 yards, each strip was 6" wide, 24" long, I looped two strips together for each knot.  I will probably make another one that is not so long, perhaps not soo foofy, but I had so much fun with this one.  Cutting the tule took about 20 minutes with kids constantly interrupting, and about 15 minutes to tie the knots.

Very cute!  I'm she will look wonderful in it at her party.  Little ones are always so cute in tutu's.  I had a friend make one for my daughter and love the pictures I got of her in it.  Cheesy

I love this!  This is tops on my list to make for my first granddaughter who isn't even due until April ... but as soon as I can get away with it I'm making one.  I've warned my daughter that the baby will probably be dressed like a fairy everytime she visits Grammy!

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!
