Last month, I had a giveaway on my blog.  It was a really simple one to enter - to win, you just had to be one of the first 3 comments.  The prize was a handmade craft of my choice, to be received sometime in the next 365 days.  This is one of the crafts that I made:

It started off with this little framed print:

I spraypainted the heck out of the frame with glossy white spray.

I used painter's tape to block out most of the glass, and scrapbooking stickers to spell
"BOWS" across the bottom.

Then I gooped on lots of Etching cream and let it do it's magic.

Inside the frame, I used 2 shades of blue cardstock, some pretty vellum, and a cute picture of her daughter (face edited out to respect the mom's request).  Topped it off with a bow hot-glued on the top corner, and two looooooong 24" pieces of ribbon to clip bows on to.  That's 4 feet of hanging space!

One of the other crafts I completed was this framed Silhouette set: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=292762.msg3327282

Now I just need to do one more craft!!

Very cute, I need to make a few of these. Smiley I love that you etched the glass too. I only etched one of my glasses to play with it, I need to etch more things because it sooo easy and fun.

Thanks! The recipient loves it, and so do I!  I wanted something a little different than the common painted wood plaques that everyone is using, LOL
