This is my third project using Knifty Knitter knitting looms. Hats are actually easier to make than scarves! I'm brand new to knitting (and to Craftster) so I didn't think to keep track of what kind of yarn this is. I used an e wrap stitch.

Action shot (Please excuse my grossness, I'm sick and unshowered):

Your hat looks great ... you should check out some of the yahoo groups for knifty knitters! Lots of great tips and patterns and help and junk!

wow that yarn is a great choice for a hat! It looks so soft and Fluffy! Have you seen the free pattern on loom knitters circle? it has cables in it and it's done on the KK!

the website has some patterns just for the KK and some for other types of knitting looms so make sure to check before you get your heart set on something! but the designs are wonderful!
Glad to have another Knifty knitter in the craftster bunch!

I just bought the round set of the KK last weekend myself and am currently making a scarf. A hat is next, so it's nice to see what it will look like when finished. Nice job.

I hope you have better luck with your scarf than I did. I started out with no instructions and learned everything from frantically searching the web at odd hours searching for things like "how to finish scarf on a round loom." Now I'm trying to teach myself to knit with needles, but I'm much faster on the looms.
Eliea, thanks for the site. I guess I need to learn how to read patterns now. And knit something besides the e wrap stitch.

That's not too hard! Have you seen the giant KK thread in discussion and questions? there are links there to all kinds of tutorials, patterns and tips/tricks.

Isela's website has a lot of videos and tutorials.
