i read a post about yarn bombing earlier on the crochet board, and got ridiculously excited about it.  so i decided that i would practice in my common room before taking it outside.
my first, blue yarn on a couch:

number 2, orange yarn on a chair:

number 3, purple door knob hat:

i could not be more excited about this!

EDIT: people here on craftster seemed to like this.  the cleaning staff in my building didn't.  Sad they were up for maybe two days when the cleaning crew cut them off and threw them out.

oh, but don't worry, i've got something even bigger planned.

Yes! There needs to be more yarn bombing posts on Craftster!
I'm really bad at knitting so I have resorted to ...sew bombing? I guess you could call it. Just doesn't have the same effect  Undecided

Keep the hooliganism coming!

I love finding things like this around town. I found a yarn bomb once at a local shopping center. Someone had knitted a hat around one of the statues on the lawn. I also found one a few feet away from that one knitted to a sign post.

I might just have to make a yarn bomb myself some day!

When she was good, she was very very good - but when she was bad she was fabulous.
