A long time a go I had this really great idea that I'd buy a plain bag and add lots of embroidery, fabric patches, bows, ribbons and pretty things to make it fabulous.
So, I bought a promising looking bag and started embroidering the strap...unfortunately the strap had other ideas and it took me an absolute age and some very sore fingers to finish it. I really love how it turned out, but it was such a trauma getting it finished that I didn't do anything else on it!

What a great idea...I can see how daunting it would be though to do the whole bag.
