Great bag.

Would you mind sharing what the finished dimensions are?  Also what did you use to stabilize it?

Simply gorgeous!  I have some fabric that I want to make into a purse but I have been dragging my feet about it so thanks for the inspiration!

Fantastic bag Grin! I love your choice of fabrics, they look really great together! I too would love to know the dimensions if possible. This would make the perfect book bag for school!

A tutorial or link to purchase would be great.  I am looking for a new purse myself and that is exactly what I am looking for.

Wonderful job!

Great bag.

Would you mind sharing what the finished dimensions are?  Also what did you use to stabilize it?

It ended up being around 8.5 inches tall x 10 inches wide and 4.5 inches in depth. This means that it doesn't really look that big, but ends up holding alot because it's wide! I used a heavy iron on interfacing.

Quick tip: iron the interfacing to the lining, not the outside fabric. This avoids some of those weird wrinkles that iron on interfacing can give to cotton or thinner fabrics. Oh and double check that you are ironing the correct side of the interfacing on the fabric, I wasn't paying attention once and ended up melting it to my iron by mistake oops  Wink

Thank you for the dimensions! I may have to attempt to make something similar! Oh and thank you for the tip! I have done that myself a couple times! Cheesy
