I guess I'm a "lurker", but I've  really enjoyed following the discussions,  and I've found many of the ladies on here seem like people I sure would enjoy sitting down and talking to.  You are some really nice ladies. And  I found enuf inspiration on Craftster to make almost all of my Christmas gifts this year, because I truthfully was getting pretty bored with retirement.  I'd like to join a swap, but I am camera/computer illiterate.
Hi Marjie... I was camera/computer illiterate not too long ago myself! This site has really helped me to learn those skills. If you are able to post a reply here, you can join a swap. In cases where someone hasn't learned the camera and photo posting skills, there's a good chance your partner would be willing to take and post the photos. Or, if you buy (or have)a digital camera, one of us could walk you thru the program. It's not that hard once you focus on it!  I owe a lot to a certain gal on here who walked me thru a few technical issues for use on craftster as well.

Marjie, KLKing is right.  There are plenty of people on Craftster who are more than willing to help.  I'm not particating in this swap, but I would still be happy to help you learn picture posting.  Just send me a personal message!  Also, a supply swap is a great first swap!  It is a great way to learn the swap system without putting forth a lot of effort.  Plus you get free goodies!!!!  Swapping is a great way to make some online friends.  Good luck and have fun!

Oh, that sounds great!  I have a digital camera I bought almost 4 years ago and never even used.  I will get some new batteries, and see what I can learn to do with it.  Thank you so much.  I am looking forward to getting into some swaps.

Too bad I don't hear voices, I would enjoy the company

Before you buy new batteries, if you've never opened it, look for the battery and charger that may already be in the package. I do know that there are some that you use disposable batteries for... but look first.
Perhaps we should request a special section for discussions on photo posting?
