It's on my shoulder, left side on the back. (How does one describe that area?)

Your shoulder blade??

It's a really cool design..  I likey..  And after getting my third last weekend I'm ready for me..  Pics to come, once again taking pics of your own leg is HARD..

Haha, true that.
Can't wait to see yours. :]

had a bit of a personal crisis and disappeared. plans on fixing in progress...

Chomping at the bit to get this negative feedback cleared so I can swap again!

Hi all, just a reminder that this board is to post photos of tattoos you have personally designed. Keep it crafty!   Grin

I always wanted a guardian angel tattoo on my shoulder like Pink's, but didn't wanna copy it exactly. So I designed a pair of angel wings to put on the FRONT of my shoulder. They ended up on my actual shoulder instead.

Pretty sweet!

okay, story time!

when i was 10 years old my mother passed away from breast cancer. for a while now i've been wearing her engagement ring so that i feel like she's with me, but if i would forget to put it on in the morning i would freak out all day. well not too long ago i was going through some boxes in my house and i found my agenda from 4th grade, i thought it was cute so i just flipped through it. a little piece of paper fell out and when i opened it i was shocked, it was a note my mom had written me that i had no idea was in there. she wrote the note on 2-28-2000 and passed away on 8-26-2000 so the note was written really close to her death date. anyways, i decided to get this note tattooed on my side in her handwritting so if i did forget her lovely ring i would still feel like she was there with me.

okay enough rambling, picture time!

(ignore my hip piercing) this is obviously during the tattoo, i just thought it was a cool picture.  Smiley

this is right after he finished. i just got this done last week (therefore this is the only picture i have) and it's in the healing process so somewhat scabby and not too pretty.
if you can't read it, it says,
"Lauren, I love you very much. You are the sunshine of my life! You are the best gift God could have given me. I love you, I love you, I love you."
It really isn't much but it means the world to me.

and this is a picture of the actual note. it was obviously made bigger for the tattoo but i think it looks pretty dang close to her handwriting.

this tattoo hurt, badddd! but it was worth it. i was proud of myself for not crying from the pain but as soon as i stood up and saw it in the mirror i started crying my eyes out, i love it sooo much  Grin

Wow!  Of all the tats I've seen posted, this has got to be the most meaningful.  What a treasure to find that note & now to always have it with you...

Lo{ve}, that is absolutely beautiful, on both you and your mother's parts.  Smiley
