An all around nicer picture of my tattoo, now almost a month old.

Owwwwieeee Papercups! I can't imagine how bad that must've hurt on fresh ink!

I like it though!

I know that state tattoos aren't exactly Cap't Original Tattoo, but I love Washington!
I got this puppy yesterday at Slave to the Needle in Seattle by Ed.

Rawr!  Awesome!  I have a consultation with Erika at Slave to the Needle next week!  I think Ed's a the Wallingford shop while Erika's at the Ballard shop, but close enough.   Smiley

I really like the placement of your WA state.  Very nice.

I just got this yesterday and I LOVE it. It was my first tattoo ever.

It's the Eighteen Visions logo and lyrics "a dozen roses couldn't say goodbye to all the heartache..." from their song "Prelude to an Epic/Flowers For Ingrid"

got this done yesterday by Justin at Adorn Body Art in Portland, OR
it's a really great place, really nice staff
first tattoo ever, and i'm dang proud that i didn't cry!
took it like a woman, laughing and joking with my brother

it's on my arm, right under the crease of my elbow
it's "love" in German, in purple, my fav color Smiley
i went to a play a few hours after it was done, after bandage was off, and spent half the night with my boyfriend grabbing my arm, shoving it in people's faces and going "look what she got done today!!  she wasn't a puss about it either!!"
made me pretty happy, haha

"You want old ladies to die!!"
"nu-uh I just want their sewing machines!!"
"then why would they have to die?!"

Ooh! Ich liebe das... Wink (hm.. it's been a while since German class... can't remember if I'm using the right case...) But anyway. It looks really nice, and I like the font and everything! Is there a reason you chose German?

I removed a handful of the most recent comments.  Please remember that Craftster is not the place for demeaning comments.  As mommas always say, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." Wink

Back to the awesome tattoos, please! Smiley

Do more of what makes you happy.

i chose german because last year i had an awesome foreign exchange student from Cologne, Germany who became one of my best friends.  I even went and visited him at new years Smiley
when he was here, he taught me how to say i love you in German, and it kinda became one of our things.
so i got it to remember him, and germany, and just because i'm a very "hippie" person.
I have plans to do the other arm in the same place with "Peace" in Russian, because i'm Russian on my fathers side.
Also just sort of my whole "hippie hopes for the world thing"

...that was prolly way more information than anyone wanted, haha.

Also, rather rude of me to not say this the first time, but everyone has lovely, amazing tattoos on here!
I’ve been through all of the last thread, and have been following this one faithfully, and all of it is just so wondarful!
Specifically, MADness323’s wings, polkadotdog’s dragon, sewsew-a-gogo’s geisha, Lola Caracola’s sleeve, nerdysocks’s irises, onasunnysunday’s bats, theEEKinGEEK’s flowers, carolyn_rawr’s bird and heart, and safetyscissors’s WA state {go Washington!}
There are so so many more that I love, on this thread and the old one, these are just the ones that I have…bookmarked from this thread.  That made me sound kinda stalkerish…
