Felt inspired one day remembering these iris flowers in from of my apartment building where I grew up. I knew that once they bloom spring time began.

Memories and nature inspired me to make a flowy silk blouse with embroidered iris flowers. My blouse is a mixture of natural materials (silk and alpaca fibers) with different techniques combined (felting and free motion embroidery).

I know it's not really felt but similar.
Please critique. I'm new to felting, so I have a long way to learn.

I'm trying now to felt alpaca fibers over dupioni silk and it seems that the fibers do not go through the fabric. Does it need more rolling?

Gorgeous. I've never seen this done on silk before. It's usually done on a sweater, but I like the texture of this.

May not technically be felt, but it has the look of nuno or cobweb felt. It's gorgeous. Is the sewing thread metallic?

I should have asked this question (I assumed)
Was this made on a sewing machine with a felting needle attachment?

Thanks!
Well it may not be felt literally, it is the felt fibers that are maybe prefelted by hand and than sewn with embroidery thread.
