This is awesome. The prose, the photography, the quieting of the condition, and the crochet work. I think reading crochet books in public is nothing to be ashamed of either. If a girl can read anything in public, why can't a guy... our culture is so silly sometimes.

I swap, so in crafting terms I guess that means I put out... You?

Great nose job!  I will check out your other creations -- I've been trying to figure out how to do a nose for a long time.  Mine always look weird.

Thanks so much again. My real nose is still at full-sniffing powers, and I recently had the thrill of smelling burnt sugar for the first time (while trying to make cotton candy at home).

eye.heart.art: I have that game with the flying nose! Maybe Wario implanted the nose idea in my noggin! Smiley

alixitis: My gf and I used to visit emotioneric.com too! He was a pioneer Wink

tomico: Your Dali, Chaplin, and film noir references are keen, thanks Smiley  Yes, I am bracing for the IBS-in-the-bus encounter that is in my future!

Lady Llanalla: I've gotten many messages reminding me to be proud to read crochet books in public, including a surprising blog reply from Edie Eckman, who wrote the indispensable Crochet Answer Book.  So, from now on, no more wrapping my crochet books in the latest Sports Illustrated Wink

JenGoPop: In a few weeks, I'll post a new crochet creation (and dramatic video) that will go nicely with your X-files-themed profile image Wink
