I usually make small {4 or 5 inch high }dolls but I recently became obsessed with the idea of making a larger cloth bodied doll. You know the kind with ceramic hands,feet and head ?

This is what i came up with .
 The first picture shows the parts with one of my small dolls to show scale

here she is all finished . i even knit her a little sweater !



I think i'm going to have to make more ! But i need to tweak my pattern a bit before i make another .

Ahh! So cool! I love how she turned out.

She reminds me of the dreams I had after watching "Mirror Mask". Quite surreal. Almost like the old Punch and Judy puppets. And The sweater is lovely!
