I just finished a sock that was top down with short row heels.  I started a pattern for a toe up preemie sock using wrap and turns.  When I went to join the heel back into the rest of the sock, there are these HUGE (especially since the sock is so small...I promise a baby toe could fit through) holes where the heel joins back to the sock.

What on earth did I do wrong?  (I'll add a picuture of the holes tomorrow)

Did you knit the wrap together with the stitch it's wrapped around? Look at this article and maybe that will help - http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer03/FEATbonnetric.html

There's videos on youtube that will show you how to knit them together to avoid the hole.  I kept getting holes in my w&t too until I looked it up on youtube and watched someone do it right.  Just reading the directions didn't work for me on this one.

Thanks for the advice!  I watched cat bordhi's wrap & turn video, but apparently I still didn't do it right! lol
