This was a custom request and I really enjoyed the challenge of making this from a picture (never having heard of mega-man before lol)

But I think it came out great !!

Next on the list, Pac-man  Grin

Awesome job...looks just like his helmet!!! Mega Man is an all time favorite game for us; especially the ones for the original NES (1-6). Smiley Smiley

Oh. DANG.  Cheesy

As a huge Mega Man fan and crocheter of nerdy Megaman things, I feel that I am fully qualified to say that this is awesome.

I really like how you did the ear... things, haha. Are they just earflaps, or does the hat come down further in the back, too?

Grin I made the back longer so that the hat is more helmet shaped and has a definate front (with the pointy bit) I`m SO glad everyone likes it (I was panicking a bit as I kinda let my imagination run riot on this one lol)

(I HAVE to find another way to use those earflap donuts ! I love them !!)

Well, there are several types of Megamen, all of which have ear-donuts on their helmets...  Wink

I'm knitting a Mega Man X hat right now, and I actually chose to OMIT the ear-donuts. I kinda wanted... a hat moreso than a terribly goofy helmet....

Not really, it`s based on my Leia Hats but modified quite alot (obviously lol) I kinda just winged it once I`d got the idea in my head  Smiley

Oh that's so wonderful! My friend asked me to make him a hat like this a few months ago and this is such an inspiration! Thanks!

I know I'm late to the party on this but I just stumbled upon it & have to say I'm in love! My friend would absolutely lose her mind if she saw this..

I know you don't have a pattern or anything, but I'm semi-new to crocheting & am unsure how to go about crocheting the raised areas (on the ears & top). Any chance you could point me in the direction of some sort of explanation?

Thanks so much, & AMAZING job!!
