May as well post this now because who knows when the back will get on.

I made this from a pattern in a magazine.  When I looked at the pattern, I realized it would end up as a 27 inch square quilt.  I wanted something bigger so I doubled the pattern.  Not sure that was a great idea.  I had to make it work.  Overall, I wasn't thrilled with the pattern.  There was a LOT of wasted fabric.

That said, I made it work. I wanted the brown paisley fabrics to be the focal.  I tried some digital shots to figure out where they should lay.  I think the pink would have dominated anywhere... like it did here.  Still nice.  A bit too shiny for me.  But I love the fabric.

Very pretty!  Lately I've really been into quilts with a single dominant color, and I just love pink  Smiley

That's very cool!  I love the complicated woven look to it.  It looks a bit more complex than I want to tackle just yet, but it looks great!

Pink is such a power color.  You will be enjoying that for years to come.  Can you make me one?  Grin

I hope you finish this quilt one day.  It would be a pity to leave it unfinished.   I really like this quilt and your fabric choices.  I would love to see it when you finish this.
