Calluna, they are beautiful! Yay!!! *clapping wildly in praise*

They really turned out very well, and I love how you plyed them.

Also, in case you didn't think of it, I will ply a singles with a commercial yarn I like. Especially since I buy wildly colored, variegated yarns and then plyed with my singles they look exceptionally nice. You might try it for fun.

Great job, Calluna!

I claimed a meeesker from mullerslanefarm and got it over the weekend and my kitties have been going nutso for it!  We have 2 and they do NOT like eachother, avoid eachother at all costs (the older one usually just hides all the time).  When the package came I didn't even have to open it to have both cats following me around the house like I had just bathed in tuna juice.  They couldn't decide who would get to play with it, so they kept stealing it back and forth, it was quite amusing... I think I am going to need to claim another one so they will stop fighting over it.

Here they are, closer than they ever get usually

(I promise there is a mouse in there, snuggled up under the gray one, she's the older one, and the other one has the tail trying to pull it away from her... they are Gretchen on the left and Maggie on the right)

Adorable kitties-with-meesker pictures!  I love it when animals overcome their usual inclinations and have a bit of fun!  It reminds me that there is hope for my kids at school who just can't seem to cope with middle class values or authority figures!  When they finally understand what we're trying to teach them, it's like a blooming flower or two cats tussling over a meesker;  pure joy!
