Hello everyone.
Because the end of my time at school is approaching quite fast I am forced to think about what to wear at the graduation ball. I suppose all the girls will come up with pastel coloured satin dresses, so I wanted to make something very different for myself. I took two shirts I got when my mums friend cleaned out his wardrobe and made this dress to try out a pattern I had in mind for my ball dress. I think the pattern worked out quite well, and I will use it on two darker and more "festive" shirts to create my graduation ball dress. Now on to the pictures:

My legs arent that white. Really. This is due to bad lighting conditions.

I REALLY like that, especially the mixed plaids: they work together well. And I like the shape of the skirt part.

What a really smart idea of trying it out with "shirt fabric" first!  It's really cute this way and I can't wait to see the final finished dress.
