Here are the pictures of my lovely items from jMisSister who super spoiled me!!!

First is the group shot which contains: ruffled apron (inspired by my wist), Dick and Jane bag, hand-painted flower pot, lots of office supplies, decorated journal, bracelet, and magnets.

Here are all the stationery goodies!!  I have an unhealthy addiction to office supplies  Smiley

Here's the Dick and Jane bag.  The width is nice and long, I think it might use it as a WIP bag.  I completely love the fabric!

Here's a closeup of the fabric used on the ruffled apron.  It has children's verses on it.

This is a journal that jMisSister decorated for me.  This semester one of my professors has requested that we keep a "teaching journal," so this is absolutely perfect!

These are some vintage magnets.  I think my favorite is the Cabbage Patch one!

One of my favorite children's books is Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin.  I have no idea how she made this, but it's so cute.  I showed it to one of my friends (also studying to be a teacher, and she was really jealous)

So I saved my favorite item for last.  It's this beautiful painted flowerpot.  It's nice and bright and just so adorable.

Thank you so much jMisSister!!!!  Everything is absolutely wonderful  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

A beautiful package!  Lucky you craftastrophe and well done to jMisSister!  I particularly like the fabric of the Dick and Jane bag - vintage stuff just makes me drool...  But the beautiful paintwork on the flower pot, well, it's just gorgeous!

This is a fantastic start to our swap gallery!

Thanks everyone!!  I made the Click, Clack, Moo out of shrinky dinks.  It was so super easy!  I just draw the images on the dinks, color them, and then throw them in the oven.

That bag...ugh!  hahaha  It is my first ever bag and it's not perfect which is a big deal for me because I am a perfectionist.  I am glad you will use it though.  The fabric rocks.

By the way, if you want to spray a shine coat on that pot you can.  I didn't because it's been too cold here to spray.  If it's too cold it ruins the pot and I didn't want to mess it up.

Can't wait to see what everyone else is making!!!!!!!!

What a great package to start us off.  I especially love the magnets!

Craftastrophe, does your heart beat really fast when you walk in a Staples or Office Max?  Me too!  My love affair with office supplies (and storage containers) began when I was no more than six years old.  I think I inherited the addiction from my Dad.  Oh well,;we could be hooked on much worse.

I totally agree about the office supplies! I think that's how you know you're meant to be a teacher... seriously. It's like a litmus test.

It's so funny that you say that.  I have two daughters.  One cares nothing about office supplies and one is obsessed with them and always has been.  Guess which one is going to school to be a high school history teacher?

Cheesy  I think if there was a scientific study done it would show that a large percentage of teachers love office supplies.  In the beginning of the year they give us a giant shopping bag full of markers, crayons, sticky notes, dry erase markers, etc and it's like frickin' Christmas!
