This challenge really got me going on a project I've been conceptualizing for a long long time.  Here is my theatre:

I made the curtains out of newspaper and magazine photos

The Stage is decorated with sheet music

The quote is from a children's book and created this whole scene in my head.

And here she is....the star of the show

This is the cereal box that got me started.  I must say that I'm eating a lot of expensive cereal from Target this days.

This is so inspiring!  I'm working on the courage to try assemblage AND shrine-making and this really gets me fired up.  And intimidated.  Ahem.

Whoa!  This is awesome!  Also, the reason I didn't do this challenge.  I would have been way out of my league.  I love, love, love your work.

Stunning use of color and texture. I like the asymmetry of the lovely woman standing underneath the curtains. Well done  Smiley

I freakin' love this!  It's so well done dear.  The scale is excellent, and your use of color palette is perfect.  Nice work!

Very pretty!  Smiley I never would have thought of using the boxes that way. I love the colors you used.

Thanks everyone - you all are so sweet!   Crafty_dame, I made the purple discs with polymer clay.  I made flat circles and stamped stars into the clay and then baked them.  Afterwards I painted and embossed them and lastly used metallic oil pastels to make the details really stand out.

At the time I made them - almost a year ago - I didn't have any idea what I would do with them.  I just wanted to try out the technique.
