usually i'm not that fond of freeform crochet, but yours is beautiful! When I saw the whole shebang, I said to myself "what's wrong with it?" I think it's because you used some colours throughout the whole blanket as opposed to have every colour imaginable on it (with no repetition) I'm "this rocks"-ing it Smiley

Afghans are quite addictive...as you will find out since this is your first.  I love the idea of a sandwich blanket.

Nice work.  I like the colors, and the shapes kind of make me think of Klimt paintings minus figures.

ooh, I think I see what you mean! I'm kind of hard on myself with crochet because my mom did such amazing stuff. I picked it up after she died and sometimes get frustrated because I didn't see my stuff as comparable to her work. So, what I'm trying to say is I really appreciate your kind words, guys! Means a lot.

Actually, Thats amazing!  I love the absolute abstractness of it!  I'm learning to crochet, and atm can only do circles too... maybe I'll borrow your idea!  (except for maybe a bit smaller....)
