I've been experimenting on using my newly purchased kumihimo weaving pad. I was surprised at how easy to make them. So I made one after the other until I ran out of closures.... Here are the pics. Hope you like 'em.

These are all very gorgeous! Friendship bracelets are all really ordinary and abundant, but the unique clasps added to each one of these really spices them up. I would buy one of these. They have the familiarity of a friendship bracelet, but they're not quite as boring.

 Cheesy

Very nice braids.  I found a great place to get Kumihimo Japanese Braiding Kits.  I like these discs because they are soft and don't hurt the yarn.  Plus you can put them in your pocket or purse.  They are not rigid like some I've seen.  They also have Kumihimo Refill Packs which aren't shown on the website.  I bought some at a quilt show.  They have Alpaca and Hemp to braid with which are kind of hard to find.  They make cool braids though.  The Alpaca you have to be careful with and not pull too hard or it will separate.  You can push it back together and work it in, but it's better not to pull it apart.  :  )

I do like the way you've got the clasps on them. I used to make these things but my kit is sadly neglected as I couldn't work out how to fasten them in a neat way!
