This is awesome, what a great idea!  I third the request for measurements or a tute, although I see you might make one anyway!  Again, great job on a ridiculously cute and practical idea.

Stylish solution to annoying problem of mail sorting! I love it. Thank you for the information, I look forward to a tutorial. I'm glad of the substitution information (I thought Timtex had been discontinued or something; not sure if it has or not, but good to have backup either way).
Thanks again!

What a great idea! I wish I had thought of that a couple months ago, or that you had thought of it earlier. Wink

Also, I think the vinyl window is the best idea. Then your labels could just be paper and change really easily if needed.

Tutorial Status Update!!!! I made two more mail holders tonight but it's too late to put together the tutorial (gotta get up for work at 5:30...Sad) so I'll do that tomorrow evening!

Thanks for all your awesome suggestions and praise! This post was featured on CRAFT magazine's blog today!  Grin Grin Grin

I love this idea and really hope to see a tutorial soon!

I like the idea of using twill tape and stamping your labels if you have alphabet stamps and fabric friendly stamp pads.

Great job!

The tutorial for this project is now available on my blog! Please post pics if you make one yourself, I'd love to see! Also I made two, one just like the original and one that cut out the extra fabric on the sides (so the edge of the pockets are flush with the binding). Try the new version if you only have a small space to hang it in!
