Okay, I don't know what else to call it really, lol. I made this for a friend's son who absolutely loves the Cubs. My boyfriend calls it a Spartan snow helmet and just looked at me weird when I finished it. This was made from neosynthesis' awesome tutorial! I have been crocheting for oh....2/3rds of my life give or take and never seen a winter hat like it! I wanted to do a felted mohawk, but could not find the shade of red wool I needed anywhere around me  Sad. But alas, I found this other red yarn that worked perfectly....until I ran out, so I finished it in the blue that was used for the base of the hat. Im very impatient when it comes to the end of projects and I find out I don't have enough materials...so I improvise.

And I will get more/better pics posted when I get home and dig out my camera. My hallway kind of sucks in the whole lighting appropriately category!

I'm one crazy broad!
