I made this cat bed from a sturdy cardboard box and some denim material from a bedskirt I never really used.  I basically just measured panels and pinned them on the box inside out then adjusted the pins, took it off and sewed it together it is like a pillowcase for the outter structure of the box.  I used my boyfriends old house coat as the cushion part, I can just take that out and wash it and take the cover off and wash it too if needed.

My kitty Muffin, who won't really stand still for a decent picture.

My kitty Trinket, she sits still for very long periods at a time lol.

Comments and Questions welcome,  I will try to answer any questions about the construction I can if there are any.  Thanks for looking.

Thank you so much.  I know my cats sure love it quite a bit, since I know they used to lie on that house coat all the time as it was haha.  I got my boyfriend a new housecoat for christmas so I figure I might aswell retire that one to the cats since they loved it so much.

Thanks for the comment Grin. I try to make most of the things I make out of recycled materials, I think it is important.

Actually, Muffin just doesn't take very good photos lol.  She is the total opposite, she is the most sweet and gentle cat I have ever known.  She would barely hurt a fly lol.

rinket on the other hand, now she is a saucy one when the mood strikes lol. Smiley
