This is the living room of our mid-1920's bungalow. We collect lots of things (antique typewriters, taxidermy, sewing machines, quilts, etc) so our house is quickly filling up as we hoard more and more stuff.

Oh, how I envy you.  I want to live in a mid 20's bungalow.  I've always wanted a small cottage or bungalow but I'm in a boring ranch style house.  My hubby and I hope to downsize some day and build something charming like you live in, but I'm trying to figure out how to have a small cozy home and still have a ginormous basement for my crafts and stuff.

Sooo cute!   We live in a little bungalow now, that I'd love to redo in a similar eclectic style... but we don't own it, so I'll have to wait till we buy our own.  For now I'll be jealous of yours!

That looks so cosy and inviting. I love the colours of the walls, furniture and decorations. Can I come and stay with you?  Grin

chaotic? i think not. comfy, inviting and warm would be my choices. you have successfully created a space with thrifty and kitschy things without looking like a goodwill. I've noticed from my own experience that its a very thin line. great job! i'm with greeneggsandham...can i come over? Smiley
