I have been collecting vintage buttons for quite awhile and am always looking very interesting projects and ideas to put them to use. I was blown away when I saw this and am just crazy enough to want to tackle it. Time to finish sorting the rest of my buttons and get to work. Question: did you sew the base fabric pieces together, sew all the buttons on and then hand sew in the lining? Thanks again for the inspiration!
