Here is the Valentine's Day Countdown Calendar I made for my littles:

Here are the pocket inhabitants peeking out

Here they are around the tree

And here's my favorite guy

There are a ton more pictures and a full tutorial on my blog, if anyone's interested -- Little Sister Handmade.  It was fun, but took a while.  I'm glad I started with a 14-day one instead of an advent calendar!

I hope you enjoy it!

I really love this idea.  My kids have been asking when Valentine's Day is...now I'm inspired to make a countdown calendar.  Thanks for going to the trouble to make a tutorial!

Thank you!  I spent a couple of weeks crafting every night after the little ones went to bed.  And then the last couple of days, I tried to get some done during the day, too.  I gave the kids a watered down glue/glitter mixture with paintbrushes and paper.  I must have gotten, oh, a good 20 minutes out of that one  Cheesy

This would be such a great idea for a Christmas advent calender too; more pockets and a christmassy theme.... awesome  Grin

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
