I love the gift kits in a box kind of thing, but I'm stuck on ideas of what to put in it! My fiance is a Korean immigrant from Philadelphia, who loves cheese, drumming, Philly, and movies. I've knit him a ninja turtles inspired hat, and I've popped some new drumsticks in the box, but that's all I can think of! Any more ideas?

He loves Philly? As in, Fanatic? They did win the 08 World Series, so maybe you can find some items along those lines and make a collage/shadow box that highlights that?

Cheese...ahh, how about a homemade boursin cheese placed into a nice container and a sleeve of water crackers?

hmm, not sure about the whole drummer part. MY bf is a guitarist. lol....
maybe some of that skin in a bottle stuff or some bandaids. I know his drummer is always messing up his hands. Or some lotion?
CHEESE!? yumm...cheese and honey are the reason I am not vegan. You could put in a block/ wedge of his favorite cheese wrapped with a card that says "this is the cheesiest way I could think of to say I love you. "
I saw that somewhere and thought it was adorable.
Pictures are always good. Scrapbooks.

This is what I am making for my boyfriend.

It is really easy and fun. Grin

Drummers ... well, my best friend is one so I actually have a little insight here.
How about a bigger stick bag? They fill up fast so a bigger one is always needed. You could paint/mod podge/whatever a pair of sticks. Depending on how you guy plays (whether he hits farther down the stick on the sides often) will determine the damage from him playing. Likely it'll just dent up the tips of the sticks therefore the rest is fair game for decorating. A pair of light up drum sticks will likely ammuse him to no end. A metronome, just incase he can't keep a beat. However, the metronome may be considered an insult because drummers like to believe they can actually keep a beat. I can't think of anything else right now but once I do I'll let you know.

I LOVE the cheese ideas! (To be fair, our love of cheese was one of the things that brought us together.) I think I'm going to get him a set of drumsticks as well. The nu-skin is a good idea as well. I already have some as well. (I'm a bass player, and those strings are gnarly to fingers.) I think I'm going to make him a mix CD of all "our" songs, as well as the concerts we've been to. (Our next stop is Flight of the Conchords.... I'm STOKED!) I think I'll throw in some strawberry Pocky as well.
He's also a big Tarentino fan and his fave band is Weezer. He's an amateur photographer and loves to edit videos. He installs Air conditioners for a living... maybe that'll spark some more ideas.

My boyfriend is also a drummer, I like the drum key idea, but this one is his favorite. It has a preset tight-ness so his tuning is all the same.

A few years ago I made him a stick bag. He really liked it too. He didn't have to pay twenty bucks for one with a stupid design.

He smells good, he really does! He smells like root beer.

My better half used to drum in a band, so I'd perhaps make him a towel (you can put lyrics on it or something...)
Maybe you can paint a set of sticks or stencil a seat cover for his seat....?

I ended up with the drum key, towel, sticks, and boursin cheese. I also added strawberry Pocky (his fave candy), and some handmade slogan shirts. "Incalclacuble" from The Office and a Flight of the Conchords one which says "Recycling: Not part of foreplay, but still very important."
HE LOVED IT! thanks for the suggestions.
