I have no idea why I did this. It involved watching that movie way too many times. The first time I watched and would pause scenes and then make a quick sketch in my book to later turn into felt. I kind of wanted to make an actual narrative but the movie doesn't really have one either so I didn't.

That. Is fantastic.

I laughed as soon as I read the cover. Grin Did you watch this on MST3K? I haven't seen it in aaaages.
I love how detailed your pages are. I think my fav is the one with the flamingo.
Nice job!

Yeah the only one you're going to want to watch is the MST3K version. It made me want to kill myself a lot less plus you get to see Torgo deliver pizza at the end. I have the dvd which also had 30 minutes of outtakes (Poopie!) so I'd watch the movie and then outtakes. It helped a little...

That's awesome.  It makes about as much sense in felt form as it does in movie form.  Okay, I'm lying, your little book is way cooler.  Yay MST3K!!  (I can't imagine someone watching this movie without Joel and the bots!)

Manos ROCKS!!!  This book is awesome, except that Torgo needs bigger knees/thighs.

Step off, I'm doin the hump.

Ha!!  This is AWESOME!!  I like your book so much better than the movie!  It was horrible!  I never would have gotten through it with out MST3K!  Maybe next you should do an "Eegah" book.

Currently taking a hiatus from swapping.  Sad

AMAZING!!!  I love MST3K!  Torgo is the coolest!  Great job!!!  I would love to see more MST3K felt books.......perhaps one featuring a toy monkey with cymbals of death......

YOWZA! This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. If I were in a store and saw this, I would be forced to buy it without hesitation -though I guess I DO have a skewed sense of what is necessary for my existence Smiley

Yeah, so this is one of my favorite things ever now. The only thing I would add is a page with all the girls fighting ("this is the whole reason they made this movie").

You just made me very happy.

the sketches came out to 22 pages total and it started to feel too bulky. I felt like anything extra would need to be 2 pages (1 total sewn together) and I wanted to do more landscape scenery.

Wow! Just... Wow! *tries to get herself to stop laughing* This is GREAT! The only thing that would make it better is if you had a little thing embedded like the greeting cards, where you opened it up and it started playing Torgo's background music.

In fact... they have some cards where you can record it yourself. I bet if you got one of those, recorded the song onto it, then gutted the card, you could probably put it into your felt book.

Anyway, this is simply great! I'm going to have to show this to my husband when I get home from work tonight. He's a hard-core MST3K fan (we have every single episode, plus the movie, plus the blooper reel).

You wouldn't believe how amused I am by this little project. We used to watch it all the time and make each other giggle in school by whispering "Manos....Hands of Fate" in a low grumble in class. So fun.

Hahaha! Oh my, that is just so many kinds of amazing! I don't think I've ever made it through that movie in one setting, I always have to take at least one break to get away from it. And that's even with the help of the MST3K guys  Wink

Sorry, haha! I saw the thumbnail on the front page and almost spit out my drink with laughter. I loooove that instance of Mystery Science Theatre 3k.

You must make one for "The Final Sacrifice" now. That has to be my favorite MST3K. I sort of renamed one of my cats after Rowsdower, his name was already Rozz so we just acted like it was short for Rowsdower, hehe. My ex is actually in the process of making a mock-up/tribute movie to that and other silly cult horror movies. It's going to be called "Raz McFurion Vs. Demon Cult of Final Winter". It has a lot of "Manos" throwbacks in it.

Anyway, fucking great job. You made my night!

My boyfriend would have a seizure if only he could touch it. I had no idea what it was at first, then I saw and was like, "oh man, this is definitely awesome,"
