I came home to a stack of packages the other day!  I just love when that happens!  Two of them were OWS 42 packages.  The first, from Faren, is HOMESPUN YARN!  She sent me a list of photos to choose from and I picked the two I liked the most (it was a tough call) and asked her to surprise me!  My favorite of the bunch was the one she called "Ugly yarn!"  It contains greens, pinks, a tiny amount of blue, maroons and a speck of nearly brown.  I LOVE this yarn.  I was not successful in getting a really good picture, so if you want to share, Faren, please do!

I have not decided what I will knit up from this yet, but I love that I have a bit of the pink for some intarsia, maybe. . .

The other OWS package came from musiclady!  She sent along a package full of wisty goodness!

The butterfly and leaf collage is AWESOME!  musiclady used a nice variety of papers to punch the cutouts from -- I especially love the one with words on them -- they are great contrast to the other papers she used!  Musiclady also made me some paper mache beads.  These are cool!  I am not sure what project they will end up in, but I will enjoy having them around as inspiration until an idea comes to mind!  She sent me some jewelry findings as well, to help me with ideas!

Thanks again, Faren and musiclady!  You guys made my day!

I received from Claire313 yesterday!  Thank you so much Claire!!!

Here is the whole package together.   You've got some great pinking shears, the best looking  business card holder EVER, a homemade pouch, and her very first tree of life pendant!!

A close up of the pendant.

And this is Thunder showing off my FAVORITE PART!  Times are tough right now and I work at the Front Desk of a hotel so whenever I check someone in who likes me or we have some sort of hospitality connection or they feel like they might want to give me advice I pocket their business cards.  This will be a much cuter and much better way of storing those cards.  PS.  If anyone might want to hire an event manager please let me know. Smiley Smiley Smiley

Thank you so much!!!

Wow, there have been a lot of great packages lately!
yellowblanket: I think I will be living in these slippers until winter is over!
Love the purse, love the butterfly and leaf collage too! The tree of life pendant and business card holder are great.  The needle roll with rainbow effect is amazing, so pretty!

This is the only picture I have of "Ugly Yarn" and it isn't very good, I think yours, A2K, is actually better.

And I have to say I feel bad for calling it Ugly Yarn, just because I don't like it doesn't mean nobody will!
Thanks for the compliments!
