what stiches did u use for the lil veggie eyes?  and how many strands?  i'm a beginning and working on some veggies right now.

hi all!
thanks for all the compliments. i'm excited to know that people are still interested in this project after all this time. i've got a couple of more friends about to pop so i'll be making a bunch more of these soon! babies everywhere!!!!!

what stiches did u use for the lil veggie eyes?  and how many strands? 

the eyes and faces are made with a regular back stitch with only one strand of thread. when you're doing really detailed, small areas one strand will be your best friend. anything more will bulk it up. good luck with your veggies!!

I hope that when we start having children someone we know would think about making such great bibs for the baby!! I'm sure they will treasure those bibs much longer than one that was store bought! Great job!!
