Love all the koala goodies. Love the leaves on the spoon and the cookie cutters especially.

Adorable bug pillow.  Smiley  I'm glad my afghan finally reached the Netherlands and I'm here to finally post pictures of my package from MommyTheMaid, so I guess IYP is drawing to a close for me.  It was a wonderful first time dancing with you all.  Thanks to superhooker and SevsOnlyGirl for organising.  And now, pictures.

MTM sent me a new cover for one of my dog beds (which is so disgusting there will not be a before picture).  Here's Exie lying beside the new bed.  She is wary of new things, but will soon be found snoozing upside down on this lovely denim.  Freebie (other dog) is covered in mud and banished to the porch, she's not getting near this until she has a bath.   Grin

Neither the bed nor the dog are actually striped, that would be sunshine.  I think.  It's been awhile since I've seen it.

She also made me this gorgeous thread catcher.  The inside is the most beautiful shade of red.  Love it.  This may even inspire me to finally get my sewing machine out of the closet.  Which reminds me that MTM also made me a sewing machine cover in OWS and I haven't taken a picture of that yet either.  Yeesh, I suck as a partner.  Sorry!

Hi, yes I am the whitest person alive actually, this is me with a tan.

Also, reusable sandwich baggies, which transported a delicious PB & Nutella sandwich to my work today.

And bonus little bags and yarn.  Yay!! Orange!!!

Thanks so much for swapping with me MommyTheMaid.  I love everything.

Aha!  Last second proof that not all the creatures are afraid of the new dog bed.  Modeled by Spara Cat.  P.S.  See why I asked for dark colours?  Smiley

Need something crocheted?  I'll swap amis, afghans, shawls or whatever for a box of yarn.  Smiley

To koalascout,

This is my first time commenting on here and when I saw your koala bear doll, I just had to. My dad bought me one of those bears back in the mid 80's. I still have him and I love him. It is really neat to see a twin out there somewhere. You are lucky to receive one. And you other items are awesome too.

Wow, what great jewelry and accessories! You scored, lgd!

I have to ask, though, how in the world did you get a Big Chicken pillow (first photo)?
Grin lol -had to double check what that was about -IT's actually a pillow i was using a s a backdrop -it was white!
Adn the big chicken is a post card that Koalascout also sent along Tongue

Listening to the wind bustle past...and watching Muppet (the bearded dragon) sleep. This is lovely!

I'm glad you liked your koala horde!

The Vintage Koala is my fave too Tongue

And I thought he was only a twin -but i guess he is now a triplet.
I saw this koala when i was on holidays and immediatly thought of Koalscout!
So naturally i had to buy it -but what first caught my attention is the likeness it had to one of my own koala toys Tongue
One i received from my aunty whne i first came to Australia in 1989.

So i made sure to take some photo's of the tiwns (triplets) before i sent the koala parcel over.

Mine is the one with the blue bow and missing hand/paws!- he also has a little winder in his tummy.
when i wind it up it plays 'Waltzing Matilda' in lulaby form - love it Tongue

Does yours play musicsunspotted???

I love the rug witht eh littel flowers - must take ages to get the flowers pretty Tongue
And i love the sewing bin/catcher.
And the puppy dog Tongue

Listening to the wind bustle past...and watching Muppet (the bearded dragon) sleep. This is lovely!

OMG! I have a family of those koalas too! Cheesy They're back in England at my folks place. I rescued them from a charity shop about 12 years ago. I have 1 fluffy one and 2 smaller not so fluffy eared ones! How funny!
