I received from superhooker; I asked for a scarf/shawl like the ones that Charlize Theron wears in "Sweet November", and a pair of funky fingerless gloves; boy o boy, did I ever get nice things!

Sorry my pictures suck, I have a terrible camera.

My fat pug sitting with my goodies.

Trying to get a better picture that does these items justice! Super knew that I like greens, and these are great greens. The wool is alpaca.

A close up of the pattern work:

Thank you so much, Super! Suddenly the cold weather doesn't seem so bad, cuz I have fun stuff to wear.

I am always open to personal swaps...I'm always on the lookout for new bags, shawls, punk/steampunk accessories, Altoids tins, etc. As a professional illustrator/fine artist, I can offer something crafty, or something more artsy. Let's talk!

I will be posting pics of what I made for Lunique this weekend/monday.

As I've told before she is warming her North European butt in the sun in Cypress (notice me not being envious - or something). So she wont get the things before coming home in a couple of month. Therefore I'll be posting pics and she can give feedback from Cypress.

The Mitten Project is a year of mittens! Each week a new mitten and you get to choose which ones should be knit. In the end three pairs will be given away to you readers.

Beautiful shawl, and those gloves rock.  I love that whole package.  Smiley

be prepared to be amazed...

we received such an awesome package from Catrinau!  my boys love Ni Hao Kai Lan (if you've never watched it, you should.  Kind of like a Chinese Dora)
So she crocheted a whole set of characters from the show.  You should have seen Jackson's face light up!  Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of him actually opening it, but here are some from tonight.  He decided the hat was Julian's (because I told him he had to share...so after careful consideration he gave that up and grabbed the other three and held on to them for dear life Roll Eyes)

She also sent some great goodies, all from WAHMs.  oatmeal milk bath (which i will be trying out as soon as i finish posting this Wink) a beautiful knit dishcloth, a star crayon, a bean bag, a clever little earth button and some play dough that "smells like red candy and white candy like candy canes like on our christmas tree" (little man's words)

Thank you Catrinau!

seriously, how cute are they?!

Mmmm... That playdoh sounds wonderful, of course I am partial to mint.  I would probably play with it constantly Grin  They are all so cute!

I just received from digital misfit and I have many many photos to share!  Be aware that it's rainy and dark here, so they don't do this package justice.

This whole package ROCKS and I love my partner! <3

Okay... first we have an adorable bear hat for my daughter (DM got it from an etsy seller).  Unfortunately Ri is napping right now and I wanted to get the photos up, but I will surely add an action photo later... I am sure she is going to love it!  Smiley

Next is this lovely box that DM painted and then she hand-rolled polymer clay to make that awesome elephant (I love elephants!):

My mom would have loved that box, too.  Smiley

Sorry I'm rambling... I'm so happy about this package that my mind is going all over the place.  Anyway, next is the art!  DM painted a little tree painting from my wists, and made me this elephant art, which I'll give you a close-up of after this photo.

I had a really rough night last night (lots of dreams about my mom) and for some reason the little elephant with the umbrella is really speaking to me right now.  Smiley  It makes me smile.

OK, next... though they all deserve their own photos, I didn't want to completely bog down the thread, so I've put them all in one photo.  Two pins, a naked lady pendant, a bird pendant and a keychain of the elephant art from above!  Smiley

Cock soup... *giggle*

Last, but most certainly not least, Magnolia!  I love her so much.  She is perfect in every way.  And she even has cleavage!

She is so beautiful!  Thank you so much, Heidi.  The entire package is awesome.  I will cherish everything and make use of it all.  You ROCK!  Cheesy
