Another plus - eco-friendly wrapping. Not only does it not leave a trace, come springtime, it'll melt and help plants grow!

I guess that the boot in snow accident just proved even further how useful your gifts were, right?

OMG are you my sister? HaHa I just read your entry to my husband and he said "so when did Melissa move to Canada?"

That is so clever! My favorite part is that you came up with it and pulled it off in less than 1/2 an hour! Great job!
It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

I love everything about this!  The backstory, the snow shoes, the maze, the tragic boot accident,  I love it.

What a clever idea!  Even though it didn't go as planned, I am sure that their present adventure this Christmas will be a memorable one, and that is what makes it special.

I am THAT auntie.  The one who doesn't have kids.  The one who thinks babysitting is fun for exactly half an hour and only with children who speak in full sentences and can wipe their own butts.  And are well rested and not bratty and not hungry and not shrieky and ... I could go on.  I'm also the one who thinks store bought toys are stupid and you should make your own fun out of wood and string.

Hello, That Aunt. Let me introduce myself. I am THAT Aunt. Cheesy

Really?? Crap. I thought that I was THAT Aunt.  Undecided

This is fan-freaking-tastic!!!!

Note to self: the next time it snows, bury presents for the niece and nephew...

Ha, sunspotted this is awesome! I'm THAT auntie too! When a poopie diaper is discovered, it takes me about .0001 seconds to call "not it!" Very clever idea, too bad it didn't quite come off as planned but it never does when the kidlets are involved I guess.

This is why I refuse to work with children and animals.
Okay...not really (lots of both)...but still.

Very awesome....and for the ice fishing gear....how about in a block of ice, with attached ice pick and hair-dryer?

Grant me the strength, endurance, and focus to see it through.

I absolutely love this! Grin And the maze idea makes it even better! I wish I had you for an aunt! Or that I had siblings, so I could be 'that aunt'. Really, this was a fantastic idea. And the boot incident does mean your gifts are very appropriate!

I'm Canadian too, but we don't that THAT much snow in my area. I'm curious what province you are in. (I'm southern Ontario. More people, less snow.)

For the next one, maybe put the key in a block of ice? If they come with keys that is!
