- Participant lives in the United States: YES
   - If yes, understands that Delivery Confirmation number is required for this swap: YES
   - If no, understands that a mailing receipt copy is required for this swap: YES

Details of swap:
One Tiny Thing swaps are based on the idea that you'll be crafting, literally, one tiny item. Tiny refers to the actual size of the item but even though it's small, it should be an item that is crafted with a high level of skill. If it's a simple/easy item for you to craft, try to embellish or perfect it to best represent your skills. (For example, a needlebook can have beading or embroidery on it to really jazz it up.)

Like OTT 19, this round of OTT is going to be a themed one. That means that you will list 5 themes from which your partner can choose as the focal point of the crafted item. In other words, if you choose the color blue as a theme in your list, your partner would make something based on that theme, ie: blue stitch markers. Your themes can be anything; you just need 5.

Other Details of the swap:
You will have one partner. You can only send your partner ONE tiny thing so "extras" are not allowed in this swap. (See below for examples of a tiny thing.) All items must be within 4"x4" dimensions or smaller. This is a simple, low-stress swap that won't break the bank on shipping.

Is your item tiny?:
Pair of earrings - tiny; necklace, earrings and bracelet set - NOT tiny
ATC - tiny; full-size drawing - NOT tiny
Change purse - tiny; clutch purse - NOT tiny
Bottom line: 4"x4" dimensions; if the item "naturally" comes in a pair or a set (ie: earrings, stitch markers), that is okay. If you aren't sure if your idea can be considered "tiny", please ask!

Rules of the swap:
- Please use the following subject when sending PMs: OTT 20 - with one of the following:

- One week before the Jan. 31st send-out date, you will receive a PM to check that everything is okay. If you think you may be sending, you MUST PM me and your partner.

Questionnaire for this swap:
If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

Name of swap: OTT 20
Craftster username:
Email address:
Your real name:
Mailing address including the country:
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?:
Confirm that are at least 13 years old (yes/no):
Are you under 18?: (Yes/No)

Are you able to take pictures of your item to post in the gallery?:
What craft skills would you use to make your One Tiny Thing (ie: sew, quilt, embroider, knit, crochet, etc.)?:
What craft skills would you want your One Tiny Thing to be made with?:
What kind of tiny things would you like to receive? (guideline question):
Anything else you would like your partner to know?:

Your Five Themes:

Additional Swap Conditions

4. I agree to PM the organizers and my partner when I send and when I receive: YES/NO
5. I agree to get a delivery confirmation number or for non-US swappers to save the receipt and take a picture of it: YES/NO

Sent my info in. A lovely low-pressure swap to start the new year!

Very tempting...  I sat out of OTT19 because the themes scared me (what if I couldn't make a theme my partner picked??).  However, this go 'round I may be brave enough to try.

I'm in...I'm sending my info to Perlabella asap.
SewHelpMe, you needn't worry.  I was a little apprehensive with the last 5 themed one last time around but it wasn't as hard as I thought.  Sometimes your partner lists a color as a theme and you use your own imagination to make something with that color.

This one looks like it fits the bill for the sort of swapping I want to do in '09 - questionnaire in!

I think the theme thing should be fun. As long as people are reasonable when making them, it should not be too bad. I listed a color for one of mine, just in case my other themes were too wacky. My themes are lucky cats, the color black, thunderstorms, Catwoman, and the Harry Potter universe. All depending on whether I am allowed into the swap, of course, heh!

I'm trying to pick my themes Grin It's hard to only choose 5 Tongue

I wish the crafting time were longer though. I usually take a few days to gather ideas. Another few days to pick supplies. And even more days to get off my butt and actually start Roll Eyes

Will trade for Winter 2008 issue of Stitch Magazine aka The One With The Skirts Grin

Check out my wists!

I am so tempted by this....I am trying to re-enter the Craftster universe slowly, but everything is so pretty and shiny it's hard to resist!  I'm organizing a Tiny House swap (which is what I was about to post when I saw this), and now I want to do this too!  Must ponder...may sign up later...

Where did I put my pliers this time???

I loved round 19, it was my first 'normal' swap (i.e. not FOC raffle).  I'm very tempted by this.  I just want to hang on and see how I'm getting on time-wise as I've got a busy few weeks coming up for swaps and assignments, but hopefully I'll sign up in the next week.
