Its a broomstick lace scarf, after seeing it I decided I wanted to make it, Ive never done broomstick lace before though, and it sounds like alot of other people havent either, so how about we give it a go together?

heres the step by step instructions.
The scarf was made up by the wonderful Wibit  Cheesy

I think you should count me in - I tried a few rows out of the pattern one day, just to see if I could do it, and it's quiet addictive!

It's odd to see a broomstick lace tutorial that doesn't involve a broomstick or equivalent.  It might be difficult to keep your loops the same height in each row using this method, I think.

I'm in!  This will be a sort of "re-introduction" to crochet, as I haven't crochet for about 2 years.  Huzzah!

SO happy I'm in with this...It is an amazing stitch...I'm about half-way done with my scarf and that's only from working on it at breaks at work...Thinking I'm going to try to make a shawl with this stitch after I'm done with the scarf.

I'm joing this CA!

Last week I found a few lastover skeins of a beautiful off-white cotton, perfect for a light scarf and I already started. Such an easy stitch! And so pretty!

Decided mine was finished last night.  Here are some pics!  Thanks for this idea, this had definitely been a successful return to crocheting for me.

and a close up of the stitch:

I finished just in time to send it to my mom for her birthday!  Yay!
