I've been telling myself that one day I'll recon some shirts, well finally got off my butt and got at least two of them done.

Inspired by JillO reverse applique https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=267021.0

I love turtles and got an ink stain on my pretty white shirt (why do I even bother with white?) I used the turtle in the link JillO provided.

Rock on! Saw this shirt at K-mart on clearance for .50 cents! Only problem with it was it was a mens muscle shirt. So I added sleeves (another shirt in my stash) and viola. Sorry about the face, it seemed appropriate, lol.

I did screw up though, my sleeves weren't as big as the arm holes so I tried to compensate by doing a little tuck thing under the arms so it has a weird pouchy/boob deformer thing.

And a simple jean to skirt recon that I made last year and never posted. It's actually one of my favorite things I've made and not just cause it makes my butt look hot  Wink No pic you'll just have to take my word for it.

I really like the jean skirt! I've developed a thing for diagonal lines in clothing. The reverse applique is cool, too. I'm not sure how well I could sew something intricate, but I think a simple design (heart, star) would be fun with an interesting contrast fabric. Idea!
