I got my 50! They're on pg 9. Naturally there's a lot more than 50 in my to-do list and always more WIPs, but this thread has been a great motivator to really get things done.

August Gallery of Completed Projects

We've had an unseasonably cool summer, so with a couple weeks before a wedding and new mustard colored shoes I intended to wear with an existing dress, I decided I probably needed some sort of cover up for the wedding. Of course the weekend of the wedding ended up being the hottest we had all summer and it was an outdoor ceremony, so I didn't end up needing it. But on the plus side, it came in handy a couple weeks ago while we were traveling through Europe and at the wedding I had this past weekend.

Made especially for our European vacation as a place to store all our travel print-out reservations and have a place to have itinerary, budget, etc all in one place. Worked fabulously!

My husband decided to make his own cornhole (lawn bags) set and needed bean bags. Ended up wiping my pantry clean of barely, dried beans and popcorn, but was a great way to use up some of the brown/pink fabric I had somehow acquired several yards of.

I made this as well for our European vacation. I wanted a daily purse that was large enough to hold my DSLR, wallet, document holder etc, but wasn't your typical nylon travel purse or a messenger bag. A nice compromise with my modification to a size that wasn't too small nor too big and wasn't super boxy and generic looking.

I love the travel taxi bag Smiley  I have been up to my ears in crafting on swaps recently, so other than what I posted last time, I have not yet completed anything else for myself (my remaining items on my 50 list are to be for ME or my family instead of just for swaps Smiley )....hopefully several WIPs will be completed soon!
