Hi!!!  *waves wildly*  Okay so I've been doing great getting back into my craft game since the baby was born (she's 16 months now) but mainly because i've been joining swaps and they hold me accountable.  The Holidays are just around the corner and I haven't made a single thing for the people I know in real life.  Not good.  I'm hoping this thread encourages more crafting for the people in my life including me because i think i neglect myself most of all!

I dont think I have 50 but I'll list what I have so far on the to-do list....this is also going to include my swaps because otherwise I dont think I could reach 50 in just a few months.

1. bamboo tile pendants for professor who retired this year
2. dyed play silk scarves for Aria
3. wood play kitchen for Aria
4. vintage flower and bead necklace/bracelet set for friend
5-8. (4) watercolor stencil portraits of Aria  (Dad, Grandma Shelly, Me, Grandma Sue)
9. cute zombie animal stuffie for sis
10. teacup pin cushion for me
11. shrinkie locomotive bracelet for me
12. shrinkie airship necklace for me
13. peacock stencil hoodie for me
14. dolly for Aria
15. linocut cards for swap
16. Dried flower resin bracelet for me
17. Resin knitting needles
18. etched whimsy jar for swap
19. vintage flower and bead necklace for me
20. steampunk necklace for friend's duaghter
21. cute stuffie for Aria
22-25. applique kids shirts for Aria/swap
26. Zombie E-kit for partner
27. stencil bird shirt for swap
28. felt earrings for swap
29. shrinkie necklace for friend's teenage daughter (haven't determined theme yet)
30. Photos of Aria for holiday cards (going to be hard this year since she's a toddler now)
31-32. Stenciled tees or hoodies for friend's daughters
33. Resin/multi medium artwork of Aria for me
34. resin sealife ornaments
35. sea inspired earrings/necklace set for me
36. steampunk brooch for sis (maybe necklace haven't decided quite yet)
37. earring/necklace set for Sis in law
38. Hatchetman etched pint glasses for brother in law
39. stencil Aria's papa tee
40. bird necklace for friend
41, scrabble tile necklaces for friend
42. stencil tee  yet to be determined) for friend's husband

okay...thats all I can come up with for now...its plenty to keep me busy and I'll add to it as I think of some more.  This is going to be one crazy fit to get 50 projects done in such a short time especially since I'm not counting the stuff I've already done this year!  I'm curious if I can do it.  Heh!  We'll see I suppose.  Thanks for letting me join the fun!

Wow rlynn, you aren't even going to count the ones so far this year? Definitely include swaps. They are half the reason I can get myself to finish anything.

My latest project (#26) is the first one for me since #16! I picked up this little footed ironing board in a thrift store for $2, but it wasn't in great condition.

So I took it apart, lined the top anew with a thrifted towel, cleaned the legs, lined the bottom because the particle board wouldn't stop flaking everywhere, and covered the top with this nice print from my stash. It's not perfect but it's definitely functional now and I like it well enough.

Yeah...well, we'll see, I might include what I've done this year so far.  But that list is pretty true to what i really need to make before the year is up...and I haven't done any of them so far.  But I am working on about 5 of them currently...mostly for the OWS.

Lovely recon job on the ironing board!

Please post a pic of Link when he is done. He looks great so far!

I have more projects in the works. I haven't posted any ATCs in my list of fifty but if it keeps taking up all my time I may have to Wink Maybe when I get to a certain number that I feel is a benchmark.

July Gallery of Completed Projects

My first adult-size knitted garment! We've been having some unseasonably cool weather here, so I've even been able to wear it out.

Just in time for the movie release, a set of wooden people to help a late birthday girl celebrate.

Project #27 - Recovered Craft Binder

I've been saying I need a binder to hold all my loose patterns, and my husband had a  huge one from some conference he went to. But it was ugly. After years of saying I'd recover it and just stuffing loose stuff into a copier box, I finally grabbed some fabric from the stash and sewed this up in a hour or so. So much better.

Here is a christmas gift for my niece who will be 2 and a half then, this is my first completed project by myself so it still needs some work. I thought perhaps she might want her own 'grown up' coaster to place her own cup on
