I've been working on my list of stuff to work on.  I'm up to 60 projects.  So I shouldn't have a problem finding things to work on.  The list isn't in order of how they'll get done.

1. Doctor Who scarf
2. long plaid skirt (no pattern)
3. coral maxi dress (need lining)
4. green t shirt recon
5. Firebush (former USCG cutter) t shirt to pillow
6. build cardboard loom
7. shawl made using loom
8. green pillowcase to top recon
9. dressed up (decorated) canvas grocery bags
10. floppy earred rabbit
11. magazine and felt pictures
12. harness thing for Gracie (Lhasa Poo)
13. pink top from pattern (need lace)
14. 50s-ish sundress from pattern
15. painted box
16. long hair wrap
17. notebooks made from boxes, etc.
18. ribbon and felt bookmarks
19. nest pendant
20. nest earrings

That's the first 20.
Still working on #1.  I don't want to start anything new (big) till it's done.

Thanks for starting this again!

I hit the ground running today and will have pictures to post soon.

My plans are for stash-busting at every opportunity, both fabric and yarn. Do some good, make some people happy and warm, and clear out my space.  More Morsbags! More baby hats!

I want to make ALL gifts this year unless they were previously purchased and stored for upcoming events.

Mostly, I want to be busy and happy. My crafting partner in crime, my mom, can no longer knit or do crafts due to advanced Alzheimer's. I grieved. Now I will get moving.

Here's to 50!!

I'm totally in on this!  My new year's resolution was to make at least 52 items this year and destash while I'm at it.  My first item is a felted clutch that's drying right now.  Tomorrow I plan on sewing a zipper into it.

A few of the things I want to make:
1) Crazy 9 patch quilt
2) Black infinity dress (I made a pink one already and the black fabric has been purchased, it's just a matter of making it!)
3) A new shower curtain (have the fabric already)
4) trash bag for my car (have fabric)
5) felt luggage tags
6) fabric coasters
7) throw pillows for my couch (one is 99% done...need to hand sew the opening shut)
Cool 3 jersey skirts that I promised my SIL months ago
9) a quilt for my brother and SIL's new baby (due in May)
10)cloth pads
11) fabric basket
12) birthday presents

Kitten - wow, songline embroidery would look amazing! and very time consuming and fiddly. do you have a specific song you want to do?

It's not goodbye friends - find me on the reddit group, on instagram @oceanna.kolb and oceanna.kolb at gmail. <3<3<3

Wuthering Heights was what got me started on the idea. There's a lot in that song, and I think it would be great to do..... I've just got to start on it!

Songlines might not be exactly the right word (and I'm aware that by using it, I'm probably appropriating Indigenous Australian culture), but it helps me remember the concept I have in mind. A sort of visual song representationy thingy.

I'm in!
I'm gonna include the things I make in the Christmas craft along thing, though, if that's ok. I'm not sure I can manage one craft a month, let alone one a week! But I'll try. =]

ok, this is the LAST craftalong i'm joining! yeah right. i'm already doing the de-stash-along, the color craft-alond, and the holiday gift one. anywho, i might as well join this one! i just made some bangles with rainbow ribbon from my stash. so i figured that would count for the color craft-along, the de-stash along, and this one. but is that against the rules???

         Like the designs? Wow, thanks!
