This is from Stitchcraft magazine, May 1966 Issue.

I love the idea that it's for summer holidays, must say something about UK summer temperatures!

I love your posts.  I like the first version of the hat with just the bill as opposed to a full brim.

I love the one on the color picture ! I also love the fact that at that time you had to travel elegant. No way for wearing shorts, old t-shirts and ugly Birckenstock shoes when travelling back in those days. I want a time machine, pleaaaaase !  Wink
