So here are a couple more scarves that I made as gifts for the holidays. For some reason, I have become addicted to them. I love working with fleece since making my Fat Cat and other scarves and such.

First up is a stripped fleece version of the every-so-popular Rapunzel scarf. I took several different colored fleece fabrics and cut them into different widths, and then added what little ribbon and yarn I had. It isn't as whimsical as other scarves, but on a tight budget, it seemed more practical. I have been wanting to make one for a while but without spending a small fortune on yarn. So ta-dah!

And I found this awesome hippie looking fleece in the remnants at Jo-ann's yesterday with my bf's mom. She loved it, so I made her a scarf with it. It is doubled over in thickness with a top stitch. She really loves no-sew blankets and ruffles and tassels, so I cut the ends and tied the like a no-sew item. I know... it is kinda of going backwards after using a sewing machine, but whatever.

These look so cozy!  I would wear the first one EVERY day in the winter.  The colour combo is sweet.
