So my daughter is very into the twilight series of books by Stephanie Meyers (she's read all 4 2 times and has been to see the movie countless times)  So in her obsession she's been begging for a forks high school hoodie.  I refused to pay $40-$50 for a crappy screenprinted one from the schools website, mostly I think if I'm paying that much for a hoodie it'd better be official NFL licensed apparel lol.

So after much research and contemplation, I decided to do my own.  If you're not familiar with all the association the story is based in Forks Washington, the characters attend Forks High School and their school mascot is a spartan.  and the school colors are navy and goldenrod.  I wanted it to be a little more subtle than the ones I've seen her friends wear (and nicer in general by using applique)

I should also add she totally busted me while I was making this, so I lied and told her it was for a swap lol.

'nuff of the talking on to the pics Smiley

Comments and critique appreciated Smiley this isn't typically the kind of things I make Smiley

My little sister and her friends would kill for that. Did you use a pattern, or did you create one yourself? Great job!

I will happily do personal swaps for beads, buttons, and fat quarters!
